(Minneapolis, MN) -- It took two quarters, but Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud found his rhythm in a 45-31 win over Minnesota. After trailing 14-10 at halftime, Stroud threw four touchdowns in the second half, all of them from at least thirty-five yards out to torch the Golden Gopher defense. Haskell Garrett's 32-yard fumble return for a touchdown gave the Buckeyes a double-digit lead heading into the fourth quarter, and the team was able to keep Ryan Day undefeated all-time in the Big Ten. Ohio State plays Oregon on September 11th in Columbus.
Gopher fans are holding their breath this morning after running back Mo Ibrahim suffered a left leg injury in the third quarter. The replay was not pretty and most are assuming the worst for the star running back. Though no official word has been released by Fleck or the team.
