Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen is completely getting ragged on in the Fantasy Football world right now. At the age of 31 and with the sudden success for his partner in crime Justin Jefferson, "the experts" are predicting a sizable drop off for Thielen in 2021.
There's two narratives at play here. For Fantasy Football, touchdowns reign supreme and Adam's 14 scores in 2020 is pretty tough to replicate. On the other hand, thanks to injuries and lack of depth, the Vikings passing game is basically Jefferson and Thielen. So they'll both expect to see A BUNCH of targets from Cousins this season.
For one, Thielen doesn't see a big drop off coming this season.
"This is the best I've ever felt in my career," Thielen said on The Power Trip Morning Show Friday morning. "I'm 100% [healthy]."
So the confidence is there, the template is there, but will it translate to on field success? We'll have to wait until Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati to get our first glimpse into the reality of the situation.
