Just a day after finally getting his shot to see reps in the 2021 season, Vikings cornerback Cameron Dantzler has been placed on the Vikings reserve/COVID-19 list after he himself tested positive for the virus.

According to NFL rules now that a positive test has been received here's the protocol for a Dantzler return.

Following a positive test, if the player is asymptomatic, he can return once:
10 days have passed since the initial positive test; OR
Five days have passed since the initial positive test and the player receives two consecutive negative PCR virus tests at least 24 hours apart within that five-day period
Following a positive test, if the player demonstrates symptoms, he can return once:
At least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared; AND
At least 72 hours have passed since he last experienced symptoms

If Dantzler is vaccinated there is a chance he plays this week vs Detroit

If not...It looks like we'll be seeing more Bashaud Breeland this weekend against the Lions...oh goody.
