Former Timberwolves guard among 18 former NBA players arrested for fraud

Former Minnesota Timberwolves guard Sebastian Telfair is among 18 former NBA players who were arrested and federally charged today for their part in a $4 million scheme to commit healthcare fraud against the NBA's healthcare program. According to the court documents Telfair and 18 others falsely submitted healthcare claims for reimbursement on procedures that they never had.

Others named in the documents include Glen "Big Baby" Davis, Darius Miles and Tony Allen among others.

16 of the 18 players charged are currently in federal custody.
