Good news coming out of nowhere Thursday morning for Minnesota Vikings fans as according to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Minnesota running back Dalvin Cook is trending towards playing in tonight's Thursday night football matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cook dislocated his shoulder a week and a half ago against the San Francisco 49ers and missed last week's game against the Lions. It was originally feared that the injury would mean long-term absence for Dalvin but intense physical therapy and a special harness that he's expected to wear tonight has allowed the thought to shift that he might be able to go tonight.
Cook is officially listed as questionable and will likely be a game-time decision this evening.
