Former Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman is reportedly making progress in his attempt to land a front office job with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Spielman is presently meeting with the Jaguars brass and it sounds like conversations are going well.
It's unclear exactly what position he is seeking as Trent Baalke is presently the teams GM. Baalke has become public enemy number one for Jaguars fans of late so bringing in Spielman might help to quell the unrest in Jacksonville.
Familiar with the area, Spielman spent five years with the Miami Dolphins front office before moving to Minnesota for the last 16 years.
