SEND IN THE CLOWNS -- OK, so most people get that none of this is easy: That includes determining who can rightfully expect to get their tuition back at unusual times like these. It may well be too much to expect, given all the complications, especially at the privileged NYU Tisch School of the Arts. But we're fairly sure that the School Dean sending out, along with refusal notices, an accompanying video that shows her dancing, smirking, gesturing in place to REM's "Losing My Religion" -- or is that "Losing My Tuition?" -- in a sort of joyful testament to the old adage business is business might not represent the best bedside manner. Especially now. Especially in New York. Especially when you're charging a reported $80,000 a year tuition. Just a little humility, maybe?
