It's my favorite part about National Signing Day.
Sure I want the Gophers to get some good players and get the attention that they deserve for all the guys who have been working the recruiting road hard for the past two or three years, but the stories that come out surrounding the players are sometimes even more interesting than what we think they'll be able to do on the football field.

P.J. and now promoted defensive coordinator Joe Rossi successfully landed wide receiver Mike Brown-Stephens out of Springfield, Ohio. He's a three-star recruit with loads of upsides...but he's also John Legend's nephew!

I think I will branch out and successfully speak on behalf of the entire University here when I extend a permanent invitation to Mr. Legend to sing the National Anthem whenever he wants.
