If you're like me, you might have woken up this morning to a dead battery on your car thanks to something like crazy -29 degree below zero temperatures overnight.
Most of you might know how to jump start a car, but some of you don't. I would venture to guess that even if you are successful in jumping your vehicle, you might not be doing it the right way.
So I looked it up, just to be sure, and this is what the fine folks over at WikiHow had to say...
- Open hood and locate battery
- Park working car near, BUT NOT TOUCHING dead car
- Put on Safety Goggles
- Untangle/Unwind jumper cables
- Connect jumper cables in the order highlighted below...starting with the dead battery
Start the working car and then try starting the dead car.
It's as simple as that, hopefully it solves all your world problems!
