One of the biggest and most surprising announcements stemming from last week's Nintendo Direct surrounded the re-released of a game from 1993.
When the Zelda music started playing and visuals from a newly remastered version of the Gameboy game Zelda: Link's Awakening began playing on the screen old school Nintendo fans started losing their minds.
Admittedly, my Zelda history does not extend past the original on NES and the most recent release of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, but I have long heard that Link's Awakening is one of the best Zelda games out there.
It will be re-released sometime in 2019 with completely retooled graphics, and they look pretty cool. The video below highlights a side-by-side comparison of the trailer that was released by Nintendo last week.
