Just this morning the lineups were announced for all three days of the first annual Twin Cities Summer Jam festival. It's the first of its kind Rock, Pop and Country concert festival that is taking place July 18th, 19th and 20th later this summer.
Safe to say I'm super jacked about this show and in honor of today's lineup announcement, I've put together the TOP FIVE reasons why you should be excited as well!
#1 A Three Day Music Festival right here in the Twin Cities
You've all been to those other music festivals that force you to out somewhere into the country where there's just a stage, a campsite and not much else to do. Twin Cities Summer Jam is the exact opposite. I'm all about drawing people outstate to see some of the other beautiful parts of our state but imagine all of that fun right here in the Twin Cities! 😍
Yeah there's a stage, yeah there's a campsite, but it's also right in the middle of the Twin Cities so there's all the food, all the amenities and all the other things to do your little music loving heart could desire!
#2 It's a lineup built for the entire family
Not only is Twin Cities Summer Jam the first of its kind Rock, Pop and Country concert here in the Twin Cities, but with those genres the bands that they scooped up are sure to appeal to the entire family. There's classics, there's new school and there's freaking Tim McGraw.

#3 Freaking Tim McGraw is gonna headline Saturday night!
I've never seen Tim McGraw in person, I'm not even the biggest country guy in the world, but anytime a Tim McGraw song comes across the radio I find myself singing along. For people my age, McGraw owned the country world during our formative years so I know all the words to "BBQ Stain", "Live Like You Were Dying" and many more!
#4 Canterbury Park freaking wails!
If you've never been out there to see the horsies, you're in for a treat for TC Summer Jam. It's the perfect venue for the concert but on top of that whether your into cards, food or just hanging out, Canterbury Park is gonna be your jam!
#5 Aerosmith, Tim McGraw, Pitbull, Rascal Flatts, REO Speedwagon and many more opening for my guy Chris Hawkey!
Or something like that. Still, those bands are great, but if you haven't seen our guy Chris Hawkey live and in concert you're also in for a treat. That dude owns the stage, gets the party and homeboy can sing too!
Safe to say that the first annual Twin Cities Summer Jam is shaping up to be a heck of a time!
