Duke star forward Zion Williamson is dealing with a knee injury suffered during Wednesday's loss to rival North Carolina. Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski says Williamson has a mild knee sprain, but they should know more on Thursday.
Williamson slipped in the first minute of play when his left foot broke through the bottom of his shoe. He was on the court clutching his right knee and had to be helped off the floor. The top-ranked Blue Devils went on to lose 88-72 to the rival Tar Heels. Williamson has been the most high-profile player in college basketball this season and is expected to be the top pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He's averaging 22.4 points and 9.2 rebounds this season. Many people wished him well via social media, including former President Barack Obama, who was in attendance in Durham.
