We've been following the storm that will head into the Twin Cities later today for about a week now. With that, we've seen some crazy projections and some much more realistic ones. But alas, the day is here and even the latest, greatest projections from the National Weather Service are still showing A TON of snow coming into the area spread across the KFAN Radio Network!
Parts of the Twin Cities are still expected to get 5-10" over the next few days and outstate is set to get much, much more.
Here are some of the projections for those of you spread throughout the KFAN Radio Network.
- Twin Cities - 5-10"
- Brainerd - 19"
- St. Cloud - 15"
- Willmar - 17"
- Duluth - 10"
- Alexandria - 19"
- Mankatao - 4"
- Hinkley - 14"
Along with the snow there is expected to be some ice and VERY HEAVY winds upwards of 50mph here in the Twin Cities.
