Doctors, Status of Boy thrown from MOA 3rd Floor "Truly a Miracle"

We're beginning to get a little more information in regards to the health and recovery of the 5-year old boy who was thrown from the third floor of the Mall of America earlier this month.

According to Pastor Mac Hammond, the leader of the family's church, the boy underwent a 5-hour MRI to check up on his injuries, and the results were miraculous!

In video obtained by Fox 9, you can see Hammond explaining the situation.

"There was zero evidence of brain damage - there wasn't even swelling," the pastor said. "No spinal cord injury, no nerve damage, no internal injuries that were life-threatening."

The pastor described the injuries as if the child "fell off a bicycle instead of off the third floor of the mall."

The suspect, 24-year old Emmanuel Aranda, has been charged with first degree pre-meditated murder.

The page setup to support the child and his family during the recovery process has nearly raised $1,000,000 in the weeks since the incident.
