So this is seriously one of the coolest things that I've stumbled across since we started clamping down and practicing social distance and preparing for the process of home-schooling our kids for what might be the rest of the school year!
The website below links off to 92 different virtual field trips that utilize 360-degree video to take you and yours on a immersive journey swimming with bears, walking the streets of Shanghai, orbiting the globe or sunbathing with gators!
The experience is best appreciated while using a mobile phone or headset as you can turn around in every direction looking up and down, left and right to see what these virtual worlds are bringing to the table. The content of the video allows you to have fun with your kids or build a mini lesson around their content a la the science worksheet at the amusement park field trip.
