Many families across the United States have been hunkered down this week staying inside in an attempt to help "flatten the curve" and get better control over the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. In doing so, many families have been diving deep into the offerings of Netflix and Disney+ to entertain their kids while they valiantly attempt to "work from home". That stretches families a bit thin and looking for lesser known offerings rather than watching Frozen 2 for the ump-teenth time this week. And that has brought many people to Tangled.
A film released by Disney in 2010, Tangled tells the story of Rapunzel and her magical golden hair. We watched it just yesterday and my five year old barely paid attention, I paid even less attention while working in the other room. But parents who have been watching more intently with their littles have noticed something interesting that is now sweeping the Internet under our current circumstances.
Tucked away in a hidden tower in the woods, Rapunzel is showcasing proper social distancing, a good example for us all right now. But here's the kicker, Rapunzel's kingdom, the land existing on an island far far away, anybody remember what it's called?
With the conspiracy theorists already out in full effect right now, this one is spreading like wildfire. So what do you think? Coincidence or not?
