So the "Quarantine-15" is a thing. It's a reference to the 15 pounds that people are packing on while quarantining at home and snacking during their work from home experience.
Since restaurants have opened back up, we're starting to see some trends that are coming to the surface. One such trend is coming from TheDailyMeal.com who has highlighted the most popular fast food restaurant in each state during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here's the methodology for the study...
Market research company Top Data analyzed the year over year average percent change in the number of visits experienced by each fast food restaurant chain. This particular data set compares June 2019 to June 2020. Alaska and Hawaii were not included.
Our neighboring states don't hold a whole lot of surprises. Wisconsin went homers on the bit and chose Culver's as their favorite joint. South Dakota followed suit as well. North Dakota went tried and true with McDonald's
