It is now time to look at the best of music in the year 2019!

I have tracked every single song I have listened to since January 1, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. until December 28, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. when I decided to put this list together. What follows is the ranking, by amount of playbacks, of each artist, song, and album that I listened to in the year 2019.

Just as the Billboard Hot 100 tracks the amount of plays on the radio of a song, the Halvy Hot 100 tracks the amount a song and artist has blasted through my headphones, car speakers, and in various studios at 1600 Utica while I got work done. You are not going to find a better list with better music on this planet.

Shinedown AND Shawn Mendes failed to make the No. 1 spot. Bring Me the Horizon is the Halvy's Hot 100 Artist Of The Year thanks to their killer new album amo which followed one of my favorite albums of all time That's The Spirit. I saw these guys at The Armory in February and it was a hell of a show. I hope they come back soon! Congrats to Oli and the guys!

It's no surprise that the Artist Of The Year would win Song Of The Year. I obsessed over Medicine so much so you could say I overdosed! The lyrics combined with the pop-rock beat that didn't sound like anything I had heard before made this a near instant hit with me.

I knew it would either be amo or Trauma as I wore both albums out, start to finish, this year. I think I might enjoy I Prevail's Trauma a little more and I think it is worthy of the Grammy it is nominated for. However, it was amo that I played more so that album wins Album Of The Year and Bring Me the Horizon sweeps Halvy's Hot 100 of 2019!
