FORT MYERS, FL– The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have traded recently acquired right-handed pitcherXavier Mooreto the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for $750,000 in international bonus pool cap space.
Moore, who was acquired this morning from Texas in exchange for outfielder Zack Granite, split last season between Single-A Spokane and AZL Rangers, going 0-1 with a 5.30 ERA (18.2 IP, 11 ER), 10 walks and 21 strikeouts in 13 games. The Amherst, Ohio native was selected by the Rangers in the 16th round of the 2017 First-Year Player Draft.
