Promo Bobbleheads and Clothing Items Available for Purchase, Along with Twins Authentics; Twins Wives Will Also Hold a Book Drive on Sunday, Sept. 8 as Club Concludes Series vs. Indians
MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – Fans looking to re-stock their closets or memorabilia shelves with Minnesota Twins items are in luck, as the club will host a “Twins Yard Sale” at the Gate 34 Experience area of Target Field, in conjunction with this upcoming weekend’s American League Central Division showdown series against the Cleveland Indians (September 6-8). The sale will include promotional Twins bobbleheads, shirts and hats, as well as Twins Authentics jerseys, helmets and more.
The “Twins Yard Sale” will begin when the gates open each day (5:10 p.m. on Friday, 4:10 p.m. on Saturday and 11:10 a.m. on Sunday), and ends when the ballpark closes after each game (approximately one hour after the final out). Fans must have a ticket to the game to access the sale; those who purchase an item will be allowed exit and re-entry via a select Gate 34 entrance (fans wishing to leave and return will receive a wristband upon exit).
Additionally, the Twins Wives Organization will host a Book Drive on Sunday, September 8. Fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently-used children’s book to the Twins Wives booth in Gate 34 that day, or to the Target Field Box Office prior to Sunday. All book donations will be matched by Twins catcher Jason Castro and his wife, Maris, and will go to Reading Partners, who will distribute to Twin Cities-area schools for students to keep; for most of the children, it will be the first book they ever own.
Tickets are available for the Twins-Indians series this weekend, along with all six games of the upcoming homestand (also September 10-12 vs. Washington) and can be purchased at twinsbaseball.com, by using the MLB Ballpark app, by calling 612-33-TWINS (612-338-9467) or 800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467), or in-person at the Target Field Ticket Office.
