As fans prepare for the full 2018 NFL schedule to be released later this evening at 7:00pm on the NFL Network, leaks have been springing all over the Internet. One of the most recent includes our Minnesota Vikings and their first game of the year.
According to Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press and other reports, the Vikings will be hosting the new look San Francisco 49ers and quarterback Jimmy Garapolo at U.S. Bank Stadium to start the season at noon on September 9th.
Remember, the 49ers got off to a rough start last year and were one of the last teams to win a game on the season before making a trade with the New England Patriots to land quarterback Jimmy Garapolo only to win the final five games of their season including games against three playoff teams (TEN, JAX, LAR).
