Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen had been held out of practice this week with what was being called a knee injury stemming from the Green Bay game. But when he wasn't on the sidelines with his teammates on Sunday, interest was peaked and coach was asked about the location of his defensive star.
"Yeah he's having a personal matter," Zimmer shared after the game. "I'm going to leave it at that."
There's no real hints as to what the personal matter might have been but concern does now raise as Griffen's status for Thursday's game does come into question with this personal matter ongoing in his life.
