It was the shocking news of the day as reports broke this morning that Minnesota linebacker Anthony Barr would be turning his back on an agreement with the New York Jets and has decided to return to Minnesota for 2019.
The reported deal with the Jets was coming in at around $15 million per year, but reports now are saying that Barr will land back in Minnesota for around $13.5 million. That means he's leaving $1.5 million a year on the table on average and really does like it here in Minnesota!
Barr and the Vikings are still working out the details, but as of now he'll be back in purple for 2019!
