Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback and fan favorite Teddy Bridgewater has reportedly turned down a more lucrative deal with his hometown team, the Miami Dolphins, to stay with the New Orleans Saints.
According to the report from the NFL Network's Jane Slater, Bridgewater's decision hinged on the "values of the locker room culture and prospect of one day becoming the Saints starting QB."
Bridgewater's time with the Vikings ended following a horrific knee injury that was feared to have derailed his career. After a brief return with the Vikings in 2017, Teddy spent the 2018 season with the Saints behind Drew Brees.
