After the Minnesota Vikings opted to decline the team option on his contract for the 2019 season, veteran safety Andrew Sendejo hit the free agency market running, and now he has a new home.
According to reports, Sendejo has signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Sendejo's time in Minnesota was up and down throughout the years. Early on in his career he was viewed as a liability on the field coming in hot and aggressive and getting himself into trouble but the past few years he rounded out and became a viable starter opposite Harrison Smith.
Sendejo played just five games last season before a groin injury sidelined him for the rest of the year.
