The Minnesota Vikings continued bolstering their offensive line and attack with 50th pick in the NFL Draft tonight by selecting Alabama tight end Irv Smith Jr. in the second round.
According to scouts, Smith is a good route running and a willing offensive blocker and a prime fit for the Vikings in the second round.
What we don't know is what this pick means for the future of Kyle Rudolph and the Minnesota Vikings. The team still need to cut about $5.5 million to sign this year's draft class, could that mean Rudolph gets dealt in the coming hours? We'll see.
