After amassing nine day three picks through trades in the third round, the Vikings had the opportunity to move up or down and that's exactly what they did.
Minnesota packaged up picks 120 and 204 to move up to 114 with the Seattle Seahawks. At that spot, Spielman chose to go for a fourth straight offensive player selecting offensive guard Dru Samia from Oklahoma.
At 6'5" tall and 305 pounds on the scale, Samia is tall for an interior lineman but remains very mobile which fits nicely with the Vikings new Stefanski scheme. He'll have position flexibility having played right tackle in college but is expected to transition to the NFL at guard.
