With the return of the NFL regular season comes the return of the vaunted daily injury reports.
For some teams, like the Patriots, the injury report is a game. Yes, Bill Belichick found a way to bring strategery into the team's weekly and daily injury reports. But for Mike Zimmer and the Minnesota Vikings, historically, the injury reports have been pretty spot on.
That's why concern popped up Wednesday afternoon when star wide receiver Stefon Diggs was supplanted on the top of the team's injury report as a "did not participate" with a hamstring injury.
It's unclear the severity of the injury, but to miss a practice leading up to the first game of is never a great thing.
