Following the news this morning that Vikings WR3 Chad Beebe suffered multiple torn ligaments in his ankle, the Minnesota Vikings have made a move to sign a familiar free agent wide receiver to provide depth in the wide receiver room.
According to Adam Schefter on ESPN and Courtney Cronin on Twitter, the Minnesota Vikings are re-signing wide receiver Laquon Treadwell.
Treadwell was the 23rd overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings but after three seasons where it just wasn't working out, the team cut ties with him after Training Camp this season.
Laquon tallied 517 receiviing yards on 56 catches with only one touchdown in three seasons with the Vikings.
Going forward he will provide depth at a thin position for the team in an offense that he already knows.
