MN Wild release 2018-19 regular season schedule | KFAN

The National Hockey League released its 2018-19 schedule today and the Minnesota Wild will open the season on the road against the Colorado Avalanche at Pepsi Center on October 4.

The Western Conference Champion Vegas Golden Knights will visit Xcel Energy Centerfor the Wild’s home opener on October 6. If you’re interested in a road trip to Vegas, the Wild visit Sin City on January 21 and March 29. Alex Ovechkin (if he’s not still hungover) and the Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals make their sole visit to St. Paul on November 13.

The best road trip for Minnesota Sports Fans may be on Sunday, November 18. You can watch the Vikings play the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field at noon before heading to the United Center to watch the Wild face the Blackhawks at 5:00pm.

The Wild begin the season 7 of 11 at home before going on their longest road trip of the season (7 games) beginning in Vancouver on Oct. 29, going to Edmonton, then St. Louis and then 3 games in California (San Jose, Los Angeles, Anaheim) before going back to St. Louis. 

Minnesota finishes the season with 5 of their final 8 games on the road and closes the season in Dallas on April 6.
