Earlier this morning The Athletic's Michael Russo was reporting that he Minnesota Wild were now shopping interest in veteran forward Mikael Granlund on the trade market. While it wasn't exactly clear what they might be after, now that some other pieces have fallen into the place, it's becoming clear that the Wild are interested in acquiring 22-year old winger Kevin Fiala.
Fiala has played in 64 games for the Predators this season tallying 32 points on 10 goals and 22 assists, he's also averaged just over 15 minute of ice time a game.
With the market taking shape and a little under one hour left until the 2pm central deadline, it could be an interesting :45 minutes or so for the MN Wild and their fans.
