A quick update to a story that broke on Twitter earlier this evening.
As rumors started swirling that Kevin Garnet was the leader in the clubhouse to lead a group to purchase the Timberwolves and Lynx from Glen Taylor, another suitor has now risen up to the forefront and is thought to be the leaders in the clubhouse.
Mark and Zygi Wilf, heads of the Wilf family ownership group that controls the Minnesota Vikings are now thought to be the leaders in the clubhouse if the team were to actually go up for sale.
At the very least, this creates a bidding war between the Garnett and Wilf parties, which is good news for Glen Taylor on his way out.
