Minnesota now has TWO confirmed cases of Coronavirus

Last Friday news broke of the first confirmed case of Coronavirus, COVID-19 here in the state of Minnesota. The patient, from Ramsey County, had been asked to be placed under self-quarantine for 14 days while being monitored for fevers and respiratory issues.

Now, on Sunday, a second confirmed case has been identified in the state found in Carver county. According to BringMeTheNews.com the patient is in their 50s and was likely exposed to COVID-19 while in Amsterdam late in February.

The second patient first showed symptoms March 2nd and was diagnosed Sunday, March 8th.

It is unknown how many people might have come in contact with either patient here in Minnesota but public health workers are working diligently to track their movements.
