With the 2019 Power Trip Vegas Trip in the rear view mirror, most of us are licking our wounds after getting taken to the cleaners all weekend long in the sports book (just ask Meatsauce!). But one Power Trip listener went home with some big bucks all because he accidentally bet on the wrong team in a four-game parlay bet!
According to his Twitter account, a Power Trip listener in Vegas with the group spent the morning taking photos with Mark Rosen and then won more than $26,000 betting sports in the sports book. He placed $100 on a four-game parlay bet in which he planned to place wagers on all Minnesota Teams; the Timberwolves, the Wild and the St. Cloud State Huskies. Well as I learned last year with a few errant bets, the system to place wagers isn't always crystal clear and our listener suffered the same fate accidentally placing his money on the Wolves, the Wild and then two separate wagers on American International who was going up against SCSU.
Whoops!
Well, against all odds, American International upsets the Huskies, our guys wins the Wild and Wolves bets and scoops MORE THAN $26,000 from Planet Hollywood. According to his tweet and the people at the counter, it was the largest payout for a four-game parlay bet in the history of Planet Hollywood and it went to one of our listeners! That's freaking awesome!
