The Minnesota Vikings have released their schedule for the 2019 season on Vikings.com and social media and we now know that Kirk Cousins and the Vikings will kick off the season against the Atlanta Falcons at U.S. Bank Stadium on September 8th.
The Falcons look to bounce back after a disappointing 2018 season which saw them go 7-9 and finish third in the NFC South Division.
The two teams last squared off on December 3rd, 2017 in a game that saw the Vikings win 14-7 on the road.
The rest of the Vikings schedule features FIVE Primetime games including two Sunday night tilts and two Monday night tilts, one in Seattle and the other home versus the Packers.
Additionally, Kirk Cousins will host his former team the Washington Redskins for a Thursday night game on October 24th at U.S. Bank Stadium.
