Early Monday evening news was released that the Hennepin County medical examiner has made a ruling of the cause of death for Daunte Wright. According to the report released online and posted below, the cause of death is a single "gunshot wound to the chest and the manner of death is a homicide.
Daunte Wright was struck in an officer involved shooting on Sunday afternoon. Monday morning it was revealed that the officer who shot Wright intended to use her Taser but had unknowingly drawn her firearm instead.
